CCR #3 How did MY production skills develop throughout this project?
Lyrics of the Poem (Sorry for the mispronunciation)
The Art of Editing: A Poem of Editorial Growth
At the beginning, a presumptuous, bustling whisper: "Wait until the end, so you can narrate and tell the story"—
a faint veil cast over the nascent state of the work.
Awaiting the spark, the rhythm of the stride—
invisible, the form is forged from the very start, deep within. But "Daisy" transformed my vision:
editing does not wait; it is the place where pieces come to life from the very moment of awakening.
In pre-production, the truth begins to blossom;
genre is a map—the clarity that dispels the fog. "Research more!" cries the inner voice, while your mind refreshes and overflows with substantial knowledge—
for editing is a language, a craft that challenges even the slightest scruples of your capabilities.
Rhythm, pulse, light, art, and the message of context:
These are not belated embellishments, but the very heart of the story. The cut and transition: a soft sigh and reflection, or a sudden, sharp slash; don;t know the difference? Go back to research
Use the "fade to black" beckons—the thriller device imbued with a touch of suspense and mystery. Sometimes, the gaps are the most beautiful elements of thebegginning of the story
The shots align and arrange themselves; the scene begins to be woven;
the mind organizes what chaos sought to impose, leaving it behind little by little. To feel the agony, the doubt, and the resolution;
the internal reflection, where truths transcend.
Use your additional shot wisely—that vital exposition—wrong! Go back to research, implement Media Language, my mind open and II know is coverage hsot
to provide perspective and chart the path. Logic then dances with the purest instinct, doors of opportunities stands before me, why does every decision feel so heavy?
the mise-en-scène breathes; my brush gives it form, it does not create it.
Color, tension, the very air one breathes;
the pause that screams the loudest, the point that must be sealed. And when challenges strike—a brutal decree:
"Start over!"—the sound stuns me; the current I fought so hard to avoid now sweeps me away.
But "burn your ships": the core concept remains;
“I will not give up!" my very being cries out.
A new adventure—the form that endures. The "reverse shot": an echo in the mind;
a noble correction—the finest you could hope to find. It is not merely about assembly, but about imparting shape and vigor;
it is an art born of a new, devoted light. Thus the editor grows—through every tide, be it serene or turbulent—
trusting that the cycle in which seeds germinate is drawing near. Pre-production calls; then the force of action bursts forth;
and, finally, polishing and revision give birth to post-production.- wait please don't over polished, I think I got the right measure!
-Amalgamation of all the elements visuals and audio-proves your patient and resilience!
Such is the very beauty and complexity of the art of editing, in each of its stages:
researching, planning, executing with conviction—
